Anoka Rotary is partnering with Trex, the composite decking company, to help Anoka schools learn about and participate in a single use plastic recycling. This environmental program will help inform and assist elementary age students to collect single use plastic, such as plastic grocery bags, zip lock sandwich or other storage bags, bubble wrap, bread bags, produce bags, and plastic wrap. Once 500 pounds of recycled plastic is collected, Trex will award the school a beautiful composite bench for their playground.
