Club News
At the Rotary District Conference of Clubs, the District Awards were announced.  Anoka Rotary received the following citations and awards: the District Governor Citation, and Gold Awards for Club Service, Community Service, International Service, and Public Image.
Tess DeGeest has been selected to serve as President Elect for Anoka Rotary.  She will be installed as the 2026-2027 President in June.  Tess is the Executive Director of the Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation (AHEF) and has been an active Anoka Rotarian for many years.  CONGRATULATIONS Tess!
Over 3000 Dictionaries Distributed to Third Grade Students
Rotary Clubs of Anoka, Blaine/Ham Lake and Coon Rapids along with community partners, Connexus Energy, Anoka-Hennepin Educational Foundation and the Lions  Clubs of Dayton and Ramsey distributed over 3000 student dictionaries to third grade students in the Anoka-Hennepin District # 11 and private schools in the area. Third grade students use their own personal resource book to help with their learning in reading, writing, research and critical thinking. These student dictionaries also have information about the US States, Capitals, and Presidents, World Countries, Braille, Sign Language, Planets, Metric Measurements, and more.
